It’s Friday and I wish I had something funny or weird to post. Make it up to you tomorrow. 😉 It’s still hot here, but looks like a reprieve from the dangerous heat this weekend. And as always, if you play, play fair…and if you play fair; give someone else the bill…LOL Enjoy your weekend and help someone else do the same. “…ofthestory.”
Banquet of Consequences
Morality may consist solely in the courage of making a choice. Wickedness is always easier than virtue, for it takes a short cut to everything. But over time you learn, you can’t make wrong work.
There are always two choices, two paths to take. One is easy. And your only reward is that it’s easy. You cannot do wrong without suffering wrong.
Work joyfully and peacefully, knowing that right thoughts and right efforts will inevitably bring about right results.
You can never lose anything that really belongs to you, and you can’t keep that which belongs to someone else.
You always experience the consequences of your own acts. If your acts are right, you’ll get good consequences; if not, you’ll suffer for it.
Sooner or later everyone sits down to a banquet of consequences.
2 “Fulfil ye my joy, that ye be likeminded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind. 3 Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves. 4 Look not every man on his own things, but every man also on the things of others. 5 Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:…’
Hos 8:7 “For they have sown the wind, and they shall reap the whirlwind:…”
If you have done someone wrong, repent…and try and make things right with whom you’ve hurt. You’ll sleep better!
Recent and ongoing events in and around the lives of my wife, me and family have prompted me to post this; a reminder to people who for whatever reason feel like they can get away with breaking laws albeit through crooked business practices and or verbal deceit…consistently without any thought of the consequences or who they hurt, that sooner or later, will have to “pay the piper.” If you sow to the wind, you’ll reap the whirlwind. In any business or relationship, integrity in a must. I’ve always said, it’s a terrible thing to hurt God’s people, and an even worse thing to come under the mighty hand of GOD. “…ofthestory.”
* If you or a family member has or is suffering from a company that keeps stringing you along, and or is neglecting you in any way, my heart goes out to you. But keep the faith, God will work it out- Give it to Him and let Him deal with it. Maybe you need some help from something, Someone bigger than they are. Have faith in God, ask Him to step in and then get out of the way!
