Who Are You Listening To ?

Have ever considered that the Lord spoke the earth into existence ?(Big Bang- God spoke it and “Bang” it happened) Imagine the language He spoke to the land, to the ocean, and to create animals and plants. Imagine the language required to assemble all the necessary components of the simple one-celled animal, called the amoeba. How about the cells necessary to assemble all your parts?

Then the Lord decided to lower His linguistic skills just to speak to you. Are you listening?

Imagine, He took the time to speak to us in a way that we can understand, and yet, most of the time we ignore Him.

And imagine, if He decided to give up on us after being ignored for so long. So, who are you listening to?
2 Sam 22:14 “The LORD thundered from heaven, and the most High uttered his voice.”
Job 37:5 “God thundereth marvellously with his voice; great things doeth he, which we cannot comprehend.”
Job 40:9 “Hast thou an arm like God? or canst thou thunder with a voice like him?”
Ps 29:3 “The voice of the LORD is upon the waters: the God of glory thundereth: the LORD is upon many waters.”

Ps 29:4 “The voice of the LORD is powerful; the voice of the LORD is full of majesty.”

Ps 29:5 “The voice of the LORD breaketh the cedars;….”

Ps 29:7 “The voice of the LORD divideth the flames of fire.”

Ps 29:8 “The voice of the LORD shaketh the wilderness;…..”

Ps 29:9 “The voice of the LORD maketh the hinds to calve, and discovereth the forests: and in His temple doth every one speak of His glory.”
Rev 1:15 “And his feet like unto fine brass, as if they burned in a furnace; and his voice as the sound of many waters. ”
Heb 3:7 “Wherefore (as the Holy Ghost saith, To day if ye will hear his voice,…”

I have found a place to go where the grass is always green.
It is a place where you can sit and do nothing.
It is a place made just for you.
You can actually decorate it yourself.
This place can be a good place to go after a long hard day at work or school.

It is sanctuary where you can pray or talk to a friend.
You can also make lifelong friends here.
This special place is where everyone can find it, yet not all do.
It is a secret place, you don’t even have to tell anyone that you have it, But it will show on your face.

The road to this place is not external, but internal.
You can make this journey sitting in a chair.
This journey can take minutes, days, or even years.
I must warn you though, this place can disappear,
Be painful if not taken care of properly.
This place I speak of is the soul of a peaceful person.

News Links! It’s Friday…again..LOL And I know I’ve posted news headline links on a couple of past Fridays, but today and for the next few Friday’s I will just post a link sharing sites that I frequent. Ya know, after hearing all the regurgitated news and seemingly new spins to an otherwise true story; I got tired of the lies and hype of main stream media (MSM) and opted for a more truthful look at things and news happenings around the world without media blackouts and biased spins. With this all said, please click the link below and see what I look into.

Oh, not everything is the real deal; so, discernment should always be used- even in alternative news reporting you can come across some weird stuff our there….but strange enough,….it’s the weird stuff that usually ends up being the truth. Stranger than fiction eh??? LOL

Have a great and cool Friday! You’re blessed!

Do You Believe In Angels?

Bare foot and dirty, the girl just sat and watched the people go by. She never tried to speak, she never said a word. Many people passed, but never did one person stop.

Just so happens, the next day I decided to go back to the park, curious if the little girl would still be there. Right in the very spot as she was yesterday, she sat perched on high, with the saddest look in her eyes.

Today I was to make my own move and walk over to the little girl. As we all know, a park full of strange people is not a place for young children to play alone.
As I began walking towards her, I could see the back of the little girl’s dress indicated a deformity. I figured that was the reason the people just passed by and made no effort to help. As I got closer, the little girl slightly lowered her eyes to avoid my intent stare. I could see the shape of her back more clearly. It was grotesquely shaped in a humped over form. I smiled to let her know it was OK, I was there to help, to talk.

I sat down beside her and opened with a simple “Hello”. The little girl acted shocked and stammered a “hi” after a long stare into my eyes.

I smiled and she shyly smiled back. We talked ’til darkness fell and the park was completely empty. Everyone was gone and we at once were alone. I asked the girl why she was so sad. The little girl looked at me and with a sad face said, “Because I’m different.”

I immediately said, “That you are!” and smiled.

The little girl acted even sadder, she said, “I know.”

“Little girl,” I said, “you remind me of an angel, sweet and innocent.”

She looked at me and smiled, slowly she stood to her feet, and said,”Really?”

“Yes, dear, you’re like a little guardian angel sent to watch over all those people walking by.”

She nodded her head “yes” and smiled, and with that she spread her wings and said, “I am. I’m your guardian angel,” with a twinkle in her eye.

I was speechless, sure I was seeing things

She said, “For once you thought of someone other than yourself, my job here is done.”

Immediately I stood to my feet and said, “Wait, so why did no one stop to help an angel?”

She looked at me and smiled. “You’re the only one who could see me, and you believe it in your heart.”

…and she was gone.

And with that my life was changed dramatically. So, when you think you’re all you have, remember, your angel is always watching over you. Mine is!

Every friend should be a angel in their own way.

Mt 18:10 “Take heed that ye despise not one of these little ones; for I say unto you, That in heaven their angels do always behold the face of my Father which is in heaven.”

Be good to people and especially children; God is watching.

A Phone Call to God?

Mommy went to Heaven, but I need her here today,
My tummy hurts and I fell down, I need her right away.

Operator can you tell me how to find her in this book?
Is heaven in the yellow part, I don’t know where to look.

I think my daddy needs her too, at night I hear him cry.
I hear him call her name sometimes, but I really don’t know why.

Maybe if I call her, she will hurry home to me.
Is Heaven very far away, is it across the sea?

She’s been gone a long, long time she needs to come home now!
I really need to reach her, but I simply don’t know how.

Help me find the number please, is it listed under “Heaven”?
I can’t read these big words, I am only seven.

I’m sorry operator, I didn’t mean to make you cry,
Is your tummy hurting too, or is there something in your eye?

If I call my church maybe they will know.
Mommy said when we need help that’s where we should go.

I found the number to my church tacked up on the wall.
Thank you operator, I’ll give them a call.

*Have you needed comfort? Needing help? Needing a Word from the Lord….? Heaven is not that far away; and God is much closer than you think. Reach out and touch Him today. He’s only a prayer away- and has the answers you need. Give Him a try…humble yourself with patience and listen for His voice…He is always on the line for those in need.

1 Thess 4:14 “For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with Him.”

Doing The Right Thing

Each day as you wake up, make the decision to strive to do what’s right.

Approach your life as you would your game….

…when you make a mistake, learn from it, correct it, and get ready for the next point. Life moves too fast to sulk and dwell on the past.

…when you’re down, fight harder to get back on top. Life is full of hardships. Fight hard against those feelings of despair.

…when you’re doing everything right and still can’t win, be patient. No matter how good we are or how hard we struggle to make the right decisions, things and other people will get in our way- and we will end up waiting.

…when you are on top of your game, relax and enjoy it. Life is fully appreciated when we survive adversity and can relax in the sunlight of success.

Each sunrise brings a new opportunity. No matter how bad the day before was, today is brand new. When you wake up, seek the strength and courage to do the right thing.

…most importantly, be of thankful heart. God is not the source of our problems. He never has to test us because He knows the results. You are not going to surprise God! As we wait for the door to open, thank Him in advance. And tomorrow, you’ll score!

Her Name by Any Other Gift…(Poem)

The smell of a rose allured me, and took me to this place
A place so full of hope and love, God and His grace

I explored the other flowers, by this rose’s side
A humble place so comforting, in the midst of rising tides

The furious tides that surrounded me, I wished for water’s peace
This one single rose I smelled, had calmed my stormy sea

One rose in all its splendor, her arum that led me to
So pleased I was God planted her, in a garden I could use

I’d stop by my new place of comfort, often throughout the day
And see new flowers planted there, but the rose would gently say

“While I’m the flower that allured you, I want you to clearly see
The other flowers by my side, God’s gift from Him to me.”

A single rose most beautiful, the one I’ll always love
Taught me much humility, God’s gift from above.

Song 2:1 “I am the rose of Sharon, and the lily of the valleys.”

*In all honesty I really cannot relate much to this. I have a couple of times wished I could (Back to the Future moment) go back to a certain point in my life and change some courses and steps that I took. Nevertheless, we cannot change what is behind us. And, this in part reminded me so much of a good woman at heart, my mother-in-law, Jo Ann. So it’s for her that I post this. I don’t really have a lot to say to her, well…ever…LOL, She certainly fits with some of these old, or maybe new school regrets….but I’m glad to have known her- and I certainly love her daughter. Hope you enjoy this. –Moraldiplomat

If I Had My Life To Live Over

I would have talked less and listened more.

I would have invited friends over to dinner even if the carpet was stained and the sofa faded.

I would have eaten the popcorn in the ‘good’ living room and worried much less about the dirt when someone wanted to light a fire in the fireplace.

I would have taken the time to listen to my grandfather ramble about his youth.

I would never have insisted the car windows be rolled up on a summer day because my hair had just been teased and sprayed.

I would have burned the pink candle sculpted like a rose before it melted in storage.

I would have sat on the lawn with my children and not worried about grass stains.

I would have cried and laughed less while watching television and more while watching life.

I would have shared more of the responsibility carried by my husband.

I would have gone to bed when I was sick instead of pretending the earth would go into a holding pattern if I weren’t there for the day. I would never have bought anything just because it was practical, wouldn’t show soil or was guaranteed to last a lifetime.

Instead of wishing away nine months of pregnancy, I’d have cherished every moment and realized that the wonderment growing inside me was the only chance in life to assist God in a miracle.

When my kids kissed me impetuously, I would never have said, “Later. Now go get washed up for dinner.”

There would have been more “I love yous” more “I’m sorrys”…but mostly, given another shot at life, I would seize every minute…look at it and really see it… live it…and never give it back.

Lk 9:62 “And Jesus said unto him, No man, having put his hand to the plough, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God.”
