Someone once said: “This country was not built by men who relied on somebody else to take care of them. It was built by men who work relying of God’s providence, who dared to shape their own lives, who had enough courage to blaze new trails and faith to walk them- enough confidence in themselves and moreover; faith in God, to take necessary risks.”
The above is a partial quote and I think it exemplifies what is missing and what most have forgotten. As European Americans we want what is easy and have become followers, accepting of things that are wrong and have tolerated it. We are relying to much on others.
True leaders are hard to find, people unafraid in the world and that needs to change. Not just in actions, but in our thinking. To get back to what made America great we must look at the “Good ol’ Days” and make the necessary changes. Some have said, “it’s impossible!”
But where is the evidence of even a try? So many are looking for leaders, why not take command and be one; forget presidents and seemingly knowledgeable authorities- trust in God and let Him rule your everyday life and let God’s Word influence your choices. You won’t regret it. Be an example that reflects good moral character and you can’t go wrong.
You are responsible for who you are and how you influence others.
