Dark Clouds (it’s no secret)

*Survival thoughts

Today, millions of Americans say they believe the United States is on the verge of a major economic collapse and will soon be entering another Great Depression. But only a small percentage of those same people are prepared for this to happen.

The sad truth is most Americans would last little more than a month on what they have stored up in their homes. Most of us are so used to running out to the supermarket or to Wal-Mart for whatever we need that we never even stop to consider what would happen if suddenly we were not able to do that.

Already the U.S. economy is starting to stumble (thanks to the hidden elites) about like a drunken frat boy. All it would take for the entire U.S. to resemble New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina would be for a major war (or an ongoing war to increase), a terror attack (false flags), a deadly pandemic (CDC controlled release) or a massive natural disaster (or HAARP weather manipulation) to strike at just the right time and push the teetering U.S. economy over the edge.

Just how would you survive if you suddenly could not rely on the huge international corporate giants (big box stores, grocery chains, etc) ? Do you have a plan? What is plan “B” for you and yours? Who are you trusting now for your needs?

Unless you already live in a cave or you are a complete and total mindless follower of the establishment media, you should be able to see very clearly that regardless of how many positive thoughts you think or meditative moments you have, society is more vulnerable now than it ever has been.

We have a world that is full of lunatics in positions of power, and if one of them decides (and they will one day) to set off a nuclear, chemical or biological weapon in a major city it could paralyze an entire region. War could erupt in the Middle East at literally any moment, and if it does the price of oil will double or triple (at least) and there is the possibility that much of the entire world could be drawn into the conflict.

Scientists believe a massive high-altitude EMP (electromagnetic pulse) blast could send large portions of the United States back to the stone age in an instant (that might be interesting). In addition, there is the constant threat that the outbreak of a major viral pandemic (bio-weapons) could kill tens of millions of people around the globe and paralyze the economies of the world (which is the hidden agenda from behind the scenes).

But even without all of that, the truth is that the U.S. economy is going to collapse one day; or dramatically change as so that not everyone would benefit equally. So just think of what will happen if one (or more) of those things does happen on top of all the economic problems we are already having.

If you’re not trusting God-Jesus Christ to get you through, you better have plan “B” God WILL supply our needs without bondage to the world. And what you might need right now IS the Lord; He’s still listening for a plea from you. As long as you draw breath, there is time!

Mk 13:13 “And ye shall be hated of all men for my name’s sake: but he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved. ”

Rom 10:13 “For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.”

The Most Peaceful Nations

The Global Peace Index, bases its annual assessment on a complex analysis of social, economic, and political factors, has found that the United States of America is the 114th most peaceful nation on the planet. Not a good position.

This most recent ranking sees the U.S. down 11 places from the previous year. This drop places Armenia and Rwanda in front of America, and El Salvador and China right behind.

“Iceland remains the most peaceful country in the world, a position it has held since 2008. It is joined at the top of the index by New Zealand, Portugal, Austria, and Denmark. There was also very little change at the bottom of the index. Syria remains the least peaceful country in the world, followed by Afghanistan, Iraq, South Sudan, and Yemen,” the report said.

Considering recent current events, it may come as a surprise to some that Syria wasn’t always at the bottom of the list — and we have the 114th most peaceful country to blame for this dilemma. In 2008, Syria was ranked 75th – following eight years of Bashar al-Assad’s rule, as well as the rule of his father for 29 years beforehand.

The other countries at the bottom of the list (including Syria) are actively being bombed into oblivion by the United States.

So what could be behind America’s own deterioration, given it prefers to take its conflict thousands of miles away from its own soil?

“The U.S. deterioration is primarily driven by the growing intensity of internal conflict within the country, which was partly seen in the years 2007 to 2015 (during the obama administration), as well as increases in criminal activity throughout American society,” the analysis said.

[Side Note -Warmongering attitude….Americans love war and those that propitiate it. The United States, well, we just make up the reason for war as we go along; creating a “false flag” event to sell anyone and everyone on the idea. Though poorly executed, they still are useful for long and lengthy battles across the globe. Wars never bring happiness but it does three things for the PTB: One, war profits are almost unfathomable and two, it depopulates undesirable people from the earth and brings nations under the control of other allied nations. And third, a nation going to war, win or lose, brings a false sense of nation pride; and you know what comes after pride….]

[Side Note] We have more viable threats coming from the U.S. Gov’t than we will ever have coming from what many call “terrorists.” Would not much of that money (having no oversight) be better spent on other things? I can think of a few 😉

According to the Global Peace Index’s latest findings, most of America’s allies are ranked within the top 20 places in the rankings, including Canada, Japan, Australia, Ireland, and Germany. The United Kingdom is placed somewhat lower, ranking 41st.

Israel is ranked 144th (behind Philippines, Egypt, Kenya and Western arch rival Iran, to name a few).

With this in mind, will should be making better decisions and influences to thwart war? Peace may never be gained in this age, but we don’t have to be unhappy because there is one around. Leaving this unhappy America might one day prove to be a happy investment for us and our children.:) Pray about it.

Russian President Vladimir Putin Defends Christian Morals?

*The following is fairly long and not my normal “type” of post. I’m posting it because it needs to be posted and to hear your thoughts if any and comments. Also, I’m impressed, but weary of what I’ve recently heard and read with regards to Vladimir Putin’s interview. In a way, I wish it was just one of those conspiracy theories that are proven true or false on down the road, however; that’s not the case. I invite your thoughtsMoraldiplomat

Vladimir Defends Christian Morals?

This comes as no surprise to me and many others. Several times in the past, and being quoted by the worlds press agencies we find Russian President Vladimir Putin restoring Christian values apparently from his own house and abroad through Russian areas, some of which having being documented as the Russian President restoring Christian churches in Russia, even with his own money- something you do not hear or read from many (especially American press) news agencies.

So why are you reading this here? Because as you know, I’m Christian. I’m not affiliated with any political party, albeit, the Republicans use to have a high standard of morals and ethical ways of doing things. To their credit, and in spite of their many failures, they were at one time sincere. And to their discredit, the Democrats and Liberals and other awkward anti-Constitutional adversaries were allowed to poison the pot so to speak…and then the sell-out began, and continues today.

Secondly, this site here is dedicated to posting things that inspire, bless, and hopefully pointing you to make better choices in life; maybe even a better way of life. We all have choices, and change is not so bad if you are committed and truly desire to be on the right side of things. And to hopefully inspire you to turn back to the Lord. He loves us ya know? God, there’s only One. I’m sure however there are those that would disagree with me, and that’s ok- they’ll find out later. Believe it or not, there are people who worship rocks? Yeah, but does that make the rock God? A resounding “NO!”

No, a rock IS a created object, and not the true architect of the all you see. My point is, we make mistakes. And what’s worse, is we don’t learn any lessons. So many people today have thrown caution to the wind and allowed themselves to become so distant from their Creator, that many, even self-proclaiming Christians are defending people’s right to have their own god. Well, if they really loved them, they’d warn them that what they are doing is not a good idea. But hey, if you want to dis people for being right, I guess. It’s been done consistently like that for more than 2000 years.

But Vladimir, well….it’s almost refreshing; but I sense we should on alert about this. As inspiring as this man’s actions and speech are we must err on the side of caution. I want to share with you some quotes from this wrongly accused man by the press-YOU judge; is he sincere? IF so, what does this mean for the future if any of Amerika? If he’s not, well; his involvement with the USA will be limited,  but if so, then as we are already aware of, there are Russian troops AND Chinese military already on U.S. soil. Again, I have to ask why and I WANT DETAILS! Is this guy going to be a problem in the near future???

Now, for the real meat of this post:

Recently, Vladimir Putin has used his annual press conference to accuse the Western elites of abandoning the traditional values that made this country, maybe not great but desirable to dwell in. According to Putin, instead of building a future based on solid Christian values, the Western PTB have created a culture of “excessive, exaggerated political correctness.” He said that this is so destructive it will lead to the downfall of Western civilization if it is not arrested. And, in my own opinions: one, this cannot be reversed without bloodshed and imprisonment of the undesirables, and two, the west has already gone down, and more than likely cannot be brought back to a point of grace, not without godly intervention.

In a four-hour question and answer session, President Putin stated that occurring in his country and around the world that was a push for a New World Order that will “remove national sovereignty” and “destroy individual identity and God-created diversity.” Now when I read things like this, is Putin making this statement to a body of people letting them know WHAT IS TO HAPPEN, and or is he saying that he is adamantly against this, or what???

Anyway, Putin continues to state that Western elites (PTB) have begun rejecting the roots that their society was built on. Ok, my question is, did he just notice this????? C’ mon! And does he really believe that the “elites” as he puts it ever had moral values? It’s them “elites” that are poisoning the society! Geez!

Nevertheless, the following is a direct quote from that session: “Many Western states have taken the way where they deny or reject their own roots, including their Christian roots which form the basis of Western civilization. In these countries, the moral basis and any traditional identity are being denied- national, religious, cultural and even gender identities are being denied or relativized.

Ok, so he supports Christian values, as he says…he obviously hates it when people wish to change their “sexual” biological function; opting out of their natural birth “sex” and changing the natural order of things. Admirable! I’m not sure I’ve ever heard a politician speak like this- it’s certainly refreshing eh?

He continues, “In a corrupt new way, these countries treat a homosexual partnership as equal to a traditional family with children. There is no distinction as to sex and gender. This leads to moral confusion and a breakdown of society. It is damaging to the history of peoples and leads them astray.

WOW! ok, I’m voting for Putin!!!

Again, he continues, “The excesses and exaggerations of political correctness in these countries indeed leads to serious consideration for the legitimization of parties that promote the propaganda of pedophilia…..

The people in many European states are actually ashamed of their religious affiliation (speaking of Catholics) and are indeed frightened to speak about them.”

WOW again! ok, so…what is Putin’s resolve? Is he just going to make a recommendation that more than likely will only get 2 seconds of press if that and be gone; or is he going to apply pressures and or actions against that which he speaks against?

Vladimir Putin says that the situation in his view has become so extreme in the Wester culture that people are now taught that “Faith in God is equal to faith in satan.” To say otherwise, Putin noted, would be to risk being politically incorrect- the great crime of the age.

Putin states: “Christian holidays and celebration are abolished or ‘neutrally’ renamed, as if one were ashamed of those Christian holidays. With this method, one hides away deeper moral values of these celebrations.

...and these countries try to force this model onto other countries, globally. I am deeply convinced that this is a direct way to the degradation and primitivization of culture. This leads to deeper demographic and moral crisis in the West. What can be better evidence for moral crisis of human society (in the West) than the loss of its reproductive function?

Well, it’s obvious that Putin understands that homosexuals cannot reproduce from their own…good thing in my opinion.

Putin continues, “Without moral values that are rooted in Christianity, without rules and and moral values which have formed and been developed over millennia, people will inevitably lose their human dignity.”

Putin did not apologize about Russia’s determination to defend Western values. He maintained in his interview that it’s very important to defend Christianity against the corroding influence of Antichrist-type ideas that are causing people to lose their human dignity.

We think it is right and natural to defend and preserve these moral (Christian) values.”

And in closing, Putin states, “At the same time as this immoral process continuing at a national level in the West, we observe on an international level the attempts to create a unipolar, unified model of the world, to relativize and remove institutions of international right and national sovereignty.

In such a unified, unipolar world there is no place for sovereign states. Such a world needs merely vassals.

From a historical perspective, such a unipolar world would mean the surrender of one’s own identity and God-created diversity.”

Ok, again I ask, is Putin just giving us a weather report he observes, or is he telling people that he intends to stop individual identity, or is he for it? Double-speak is a politicians favorite tool. Others around him are hearing things differently than those of the laymen. So, the verdict? Well, if he is for dealing harshly with the “undesirables” on the earth, maybe a re-education or therapy session for those of perverted mind, maybe imprisonment for them. I don’t know- but I’d be for it if it removed those that have twisted values and poisoned our society. However, if his intent is to just plain stop individuality regardless of religious affiliation then a war is coming!

In closing, I personally agree that society has fallen in the West and I will stand for any good moral values to be once again encouraged and recognized as the standard for which a God-fearing, God-loving, thriving people exist. – I am the Moraldiplomat

What Country is Happiest?

It’s not America………

Norway tops list, USA falls

Not happy here in the USA anymore? I can relate! But if you’re not happy, where can you go to join the happiest people on the earth? Well, to visit this place, a nice winter coat is essential.

A new report released says that Norway is the happiest country on Earth, people in the USA are getting sadder, and having more money does not make anything better.

Norway takes top notch in the World Happiness Report. In spite of the plummeting price of oil, a key part of its economy.

Wages in the United States have gone up over the past decade albeit not for everyone, but people’s happiness is in decline

The United States ranked 14th in the latest ranking, down from No. 13 last year, and over the years American people have been steadily rating themselves less happy.

Studying happiness may seem to be not very serious research, but serious investigators have long been calling for more testing on people’s emotional well-being, especially in the USA.

In 2013, the National Academy of Sciences delivered a report recommending that federal statistics and surveys, which normally deal with income, spending, health and housing, include a few extra questions on happiness because it would lead to better policy that affects people’s lives; not that the feds really care whether or not you’re happy, but the request was made.

Norway moved from No. 4 to the top in the report’s rankings, which combine economic, health and polling data compiled by economists that are analyzed over three years from 2014 to 2016. Norway edged past previous champ Denmark, which fell to second. Iceland, Switzerland and Finland round out the top 5.

“Good for them. I don’t think Denmark has a monopoly on happiness,” said Meik Wiking, chief executive officer of the Happiness Research Institute in Copenhagen, who wasn’t part of the global scientific study that came out with the rankings.

“What works in the Nordic countries is a sense of community and understanding in the common good,” Wiking said. Something lacking in other countries (i.e. USA)

Still, you have to have some money to be happy, which is why most of the bottom countries are in desperate poverty. But at a certain point extra money doesn’t buy extra happiness, Helliwell and others said. The USA edges more and more in line with that of third world countries on many levels.

Central African Republic fell to last on the happiness list, and is joined at the bottom by Burundi, Tanzania, Syria and Rwanda.

The report ranks 155 countries. The economists have been ranking countries since 2012, but the data used, goes back farther so the economists can judge trends.

Rankings are based on gross domestic product per person, healthy life expectancy with four factors from global surveys. In those surveys, people give scores from 1 to 10 on how much social support they feel they have if something goes wrong, their freedom to make their own life choices, their sense of how corrupt their society is and how generous they are.

Most countries were either getting happier or at least treading water, The “United” States’ happiness score dropped 5 percent over the past decade (2007-2012 being the largest drop period). Venezuela and the Central African Republic slipped the most over the past decade. Nicaragua and Latvia increased the most.

Jeffrey Sachs of Columbia University said in a phone interview from Oslo that the sense of community, so strong in Norway, is deteriorating in America.

“We’re becoming more and more mean spirited. And the government is becoming more and more corrupt. And inequality is rising,” Sachs said, citing research and analysis he conducted on America’s declining happiness for the report. “It’s a long-term trend and conditions are getting worse.”

“There is deep misery in the heartland,” Graham, author of the book “The Pursuit of Happiness,”

Happiness — and doing what you love — is more important, said study author Helliwell. He rated his personal happiness a 9 on a 1-to- 10 scale.

How does your own personal happiness score? What would you, on a scale of 1 to 10 be?

Make Each Other Great Again

Today is a wonderful time to take stock and reflect on the year gone by, the triumphs you achieved, the time you shared with family and friends, the good choices you made in business. But in order to grow and develop both personally and professionally, you also have to look back at and acknowledge the things that challenged you, the things that did not go so well.

There is nothing wrong with setbacks, in fact, I believe that if we don’t have obstacles to overcome along the way we won’t learn and grow. Thomas Watson, the founder of IBM, once said, ‘If you want to increase your rate of success, you better be prepared to increase your rate of failure.’

We all have hopes and dreams for the future. Today the slate is wiped clean for all of us as we start afresh. Why not take a few moments to think about your dreams and goals for the year that starts today? In what areas do you want to grow? What is truly important to you? What challenges do you want to take on? Most of us don’t realize what we can accomplish when we unleash the hidden talents that we possess.

Making America Great Again starts with making each other great again!

1. Challenge yourself

Have a clear vision and focus of what you want to achieve and set a time frame. Challenge yourself to be the best you can be at all times. Visualize what you want to accomplish. See it in your mind. Write down your goals, have a plan of action, and never doubt you will be successful.

2. Find the love factor

Surround yourself with loving, supportive people. Stay away from the dream stealers, politicians, the false religions and the average worldly sway; the people who would bring you down. Cherish the special people in your life and let them know you cherish them.

3. Dedicate quality time

Life is so precious; make the most of each and every day. Rise early, spend some quality time by yourself and in communion with the Lord and with those you care about. Go for a walk, workout, read a book. Value not only the time you spend with your loved ones, but also the time you spend by yourself.

4. Stretch your comfort zone

Do at least one thing a day, which makes you feel uncomfortable. Push yourself; you will be amazed how far you can go. Remember: on the other side of fear is freedom. To remain stagnant is not to grow. To reach your full potential, you must rise above the fray and soar like an eagle.

5. Be passionate

Show passion in everything you do. Let it show in your body language, in your smile, in your voice. Let your eyes sparkle. Let the world see and hear your enthusiasm and let it feel your passion.

6. Serve others

Be a role model and mentor for people. Volunteer in your community and help others achieve their goals. Your world will be enriched and a better place for sharing your talents and giving freely of your time. Leave a lasting impression.

7. Don’t sweat the small stuff

Let go of the little things you can’t control. Don’t take yourself so seriously. Recognize that perfection isn’t always the only option. Don’t let life’s imperfections bother you. Lighten up and see the funny side of things when they go wrong, the learning in them. Be tolerant, smile…don’t waste your energies on the small stuff, you have much bigger fish to fry.

8. Live with integrity

Always be true to all you meet. Do well in whatever you do. Praise and thank God for who you are and what you represent. (hint: we represent HIM). Accept others with all their flaws. But when possible, point them in the right ways. Show compassion and goodwill to your fellow human beings. Be dignified. Lead a life of purpose and be a person of good moral character- Don’t be ashamed of your values.

9. Show gratitude

Show gratitude and say thank-you to the people who have helped you along the way. Send a handwritten letter to someone who has touched you. Call up a friend or loved one and tell them how much they mean to you. Compliment a colleague or business associate on a job well done. Show people you appreciate and care about them. Acts of kindness cost nothing but mean everything.

10. Help people

Acknowledge your achievements and use them to help others. Take time to recognize those who helped you excel. Be humble and dignified, sensitive to people who are not as fortunate as you. Work to change people’s lives.

11. Be a good and Godly example

I cannot express enough the importance of having a positive attitude and and show others whom you place your faith in. Yes, you can be well intentioned, you can be determined, but without a positive godly attitude about yourself and life, you will not succeed. Dreams will die, goals will fade, and gloom and darkness will replace clear blue skies and sunshine in your mind and heart.

Remember people will sometimes forget what you say to them or do for them, but they will never forget how you made them feel in their hearts. Make yourself a commitment for this year not only to have the best year ever, but to help others that you care about accomplish this goal as well.

Thanksgiving: Time of Repentance

Just as surely as the Lord told the pastor of the church at Ephesus that he had left his first love (Rev. 2:4), America has left its first love; i.e., God and Jesus; in exchange for what … your cell phone, cars, collections, houses; maybe just having fun with friends. For Who? A singer, actor … maybe a politician.

The Beginnings

The United States was founded by people who loved God and the Lord Jesus. In 1620, the Pilgrims landed near what is today Plymouth, Massachusetts, erected a cross, and prayed for the Lord’s guidance and protection.

From the very beginning, this nation was dedicated to God and His Son Jesus. Regardless of what revisionists to our history try to say, that’s the truth.

How did the Lord tell the pastor in Ephesus to remedy his situation‌ Revelation 2:5 says,

Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent.”

To remember, repent, and return-pray and fast is what it means to do the first works. This is how the Lord told the pastor at Ephesus to get back what he had lost. This will also work for us as individuals.

We need to remember how this nation started, repent for the way that it is, and return to the standards, morals and principles that made it great regardless of who sits in the White House. There are hidden agendas at work behind the scenes- it’s not up to one man (carnal) to try and make things “right.”

Just a Festival?

Modernists have tried to rewrite our history to make this simply a secular harvest festival. But since the Pilgrims’ first Thanksgiving in 1621 adding to that day Abraham Lincoln made it an official holiday in 1864, Thanksgiving has totally been a day to thank and praise Almighty God (God of Abraham, Issac and Jacob) for His blessings and for sending His Son Jesus Christ!

The colonists, throughout America’s early history, observed Thanksgiving at different times, remembering the godly example of the Pilgrims. In 1789, Congressman Elias Boudinot proposed a resolution requesting that President George Washington recommend a day of public thanksgiving and prayer for the entire country. Washington approved the request, declaring November 26, 1789, as the Day of National Thanksgiving.

74 years later, in 1863, President Abraham Lincoln declared the last Thursday of every November as a National Day of Thanksgiving. Read his proclamation of the first official Thanksgiving, and see if this was intended to be just a harvest celebration. As you read below, remember that this took place during the height of the Civil Trade War.

“”The year that is drawing towards its close, has been filled with the blessings of fruitful fields and healthful skies. To these bounties, which are so constantly enjoyed that we are prone to forget the source from which they come, others have been added, which are of so extraordinary a nature, that they cannot fail to penetrate and soften even the heart which is habitually insensible to the ever watchful providence of Almighty God.

In the midst of a civil war of unequaled magnitude and severity, which has sometimes seemed to foreign States to invite and to provoke their aggression, peace has been preserved with all nations, order has been maintained, the laws have been respected and obeyed, and harmony has prevailed everywhere except in the theatre of military conflict; while that theatre has been greatly contracted by the advancing armies and navies of the Union.

Needful diversions of wealth and of strength from the fields of peaceful industry to the national defence, have not arrested the plough, the shuttle or the ship; the axe has enlarged the borders of our settlements, and the mines, as well of iron and coal as of the precious metals, have yielded even more abundantly than heretofore. Population has steadily increased, notwithstanding the waste that has been made in the camp, the siege and the battle-field; and the country, rejoicing in the consciousness of augmented strength and vigor, is permitted to expect continuance of years with large increase of freedom.

No human counsel hath devised nor hath any mortal hand worked out these great things. They are the gracious gifts of the Most High God, who, while dealing with us in anger for our sins, hath nevertheless remembered mercy.

It has seemed to me fit and proper that they should be solemnly, reverently and gratefully acknowledged as with one heart and one voice by the whole American People. I do therefore invite my fellow citizens in every part of the United States, and also those who are at sea and those who are sojourning in foreign lands, to set apart and observe the last Thursday of November next, as a day of Thanksgiving and Praise to our beneficent Father who dwelleth in the Heavens. And I recommend to them that while offering up the ascriptions justly due to Him, for such singular deliverances and blessings, they do also, with humble penitence for our national perverseness and disobedience, commend to His tender care all those who have become widows, orphans, mourners or sufferers in the lamentable civil strife in which we are unavoidably engaged, and fervently implore the interposition of the Almighty Hand to heal the wounds of the nation and to restore it as soon as may be consistent with the Divine purposes to the full enjoyment of peace, harmony, tranquility and Union.””

This is not the writing of someone who is prescribing just a plain secular holiday. This is an all-out proclamation that everything good came as the result of God’s favor. America was founded as a Christian nation amidst heathens already here; and in spite of the current president’s denial (probably future’s too), we need to remember from whence we have fallen (Rev. 2:5). Forgetting where we have come from will keep us from getting to where we need to go.

I’m thankful for what God has done for “His” people in this nation. We all should be. We need to remember what exalted us in the first place.

Proverbs 14:34 says,

Righteousness exalteth a nation: but sin is a reproach to any people.”

Righteousness is the reason for the good things in our nation. Inside all true faithful followers of Jesus dwells the righteousness of God. And only righteousness will keep those good things coming to us.

However, It never goes well for a country or people that forsakes the Lord. We can’t assume that somehow or another, America is exempt from that. And we can’t just stick our heads in the sand and pretend everything will work itself out either.

There are real problems we need to eliminate and people in power that need to be relieved of power of in our nation. This nation’s problems are only going to increase because of ungodliness and political deception.

God sent Jonah to confront Nineveh, probably the wickedest city of his day. One of the things he said before he went was “they that observe lying vanities forsake their own mercy” (Jon. 2:8). That’s a powerful piece of information! It says we forsake our own mercy by giving heed to lying vanities. So, what do we need to do, then‌ We need to give heed to the truth!

The Bible says,

…Thy word is truth.”
John 17:17

Truth and absolutes (rights and wrongs) are not popular today, but it’s the truth of God’s Word that will keep us from forsaking the mercy of God.

So, what happened when Jonah preached the truth to Nineveh‌

The Scripture says,

So the people of Nineveh believed God, and proclaimed a fast, and put on sackcloth, from the greatest of them even to the least of them.” -Jonah 3:5

The people repented and turned back to God! Jonah started a revival that saved the entire city! It was awesome! God would do no less for America if America would do no less for God.

The very fact that He’s still sending ministers (teachers) like me (and hopefully you!), just as He once sent Jonah, means that it’s not too late. Jonah helped the Ninevites find grace, and he didn’t even want to. God’s grace is still sufficient for America today. We just need to remember from where we have fallen and return to our first love.

I know that there will always be sheep and goats here in this country; but that should not sway our commitment in ministering and encouraging people in more positive and godly morals; always pointing to God and Salvation through Jesus.

In closing …

The ungodly are more committed to changing this nation than the godly are in preserving it. We are the salt of the earth. To do any good, we have got to get out of the salt shaker and start being salt and light (Ref. Matt. 5:13-14).

According to the Scripture I started this with (Rev. 2:5), we can begin to restore our nation one individual at a time by remembering, repenting, and returning. Let’s make this Thanksgiving a day to remember.

If we don’t remember the true meaning of Thanksgiving, those who don’t know the Lord certainly won’t. Let’s make this Thanksgiving a true day of thanksgiving to the Lord for the wonderful things He has done for this nation in the past, and pray for His continued blessing on our nation and on us and our children regardless who sits in a white house!

There were once 2 brothers who lived on the 80th level. On coming home one day, they realized to their dismay that the lifts were not working and that they have to climb the stairs home.

After struggling to the 20th level, panting and tired, they decided to abandon their bags and come back for them the next day. They left their bags then and climbed on. When they have struggled to the 40th level, the younger brother started to grumble and both of them began to quarrel. They continued to climb the flights of steps, quarreling all the way to the 60th floor.

They then realized that they have only 20 levels more to climb and decided to stop quarreling and continue climbing in peace. They silently climbed on and reached their home at long last. Each stood calmly before the door and waited for the other to open the door.

And they realized that the key was in their bags which was left on the 20th floor

This story is reflecting on our life…many of us live under the expectations of our parents, teachers and friends when young. We seldom get to do the things that we really like and love and are under so much pressure and stress so that by the age of 20, we get tired and decided to dump the load.

Being free of the stress and pressure, we work enthusiastically and dream ambitious wishes.

But by the time we reach 40 years old, we start to lose our vision and dreams. We began to feel unsatisfied and start to complain and criticize. We live life as a misery as we are never satisfied. Reaching 60, we realize that we have little left for complaining anymore, and we begin to walk the future episodes in peace and calmness.

We think that there is nothing left to disappoint us, only to realize that we can’t get any rest because we have an unfulfilled dream …… a dream we abandoned 60 years ago.

So what is your dream? Is it to write a book? Is it to start a church? Create a new website? Is it to leave the country? Do it! Don’t wait. The stairs may be numerous, but they still travel upwards. Make the commitment.

Follow your dreams, so that you will not live with regrets.

1 Corinthians 10:31Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God.”
