Deep Trouble

Does a Deep State exist in the United States?

To answer that, we must first understand what a deep state is.

The term comes from a radical criticism by the left about how deep the capitalist state can go – how networked it is, from the military industrial complex to all the features of the modern, Hegelian/Hobbesian state.

A deep state can exist in a democracy which lacks control over government economic, military and intelligence organizations. Such secrecy is destructive to a democracy that is supposed to be under an elected civilian political leadership.

When government organizations can implement operations in secrecy without public oversight (Which they have always done), they are effectively circumventing a democracy.

Does this exist in the United States? Let’s look at some historical events today.

Some of us baby boomers may remember COINTELPRO. The FBI began COINTELPRO—short for Counterintelligence Program—in 1956 to disrupt the activities of the Communist Party of the United States. In the 1960s, it was expanded to include several other domestic groups, such as the Ku Klux Klan, the Socialist Workers Party, and the Black Panther Party. This action was actually done not to disrupt their agenda, but gain control of it for future usage.

All COINTELPRO operations were supposedly ended in 1971. Although limited in scope (about two-tenths of one percent of the FBI’s workload over a 15-year period- officially), COINTELPRO was later rightfully criticized by Congress and the American people for abridging first amendment rights and for other reasons.

You may or may not recall Operation Mockingbird. Operation Mockingbird was a secret campaign by the United States Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) to influence media. Begun in the 1950s, it was initially organized by Cord Meyer and Allen W. Dulles, it was later led by Frank Wisner after Dulles became the head of the CIA. The organization recruited leading American journalists into a network to help present the CIA’s views, and funded some student and cultural organizations, and magazines as fronts. As it developed, it also worked to influence foreign media and political campaigns, in addition to activities by other operating units of the CIA.

A Project Mockingbird is mentioned in the CIA Family Jewels report, compiled in the mid-70s. According to the declassified version of the report released in 2007, Project Mockingbird involved wire-tapping of two American journalists for several months in the early 1960s. There was certainly more but you won’t get to read about it anytime soon and if you do it will be re-written for public.

The list goes on and on. Many incidents we hear about in the news have a more complicated history than most civilians could ever imagine. Government agencies hardly ever serve the people and this is contrary to democracy. The circumventing of democracy has a long history and is likely very careful and sophisticated in 2017.

The corporate-owned mass media will tell you the idea of a “deep state” is only “conspiracy theory,” but history is indisputable. This makes me think the mass media has been thoroughly compromised; and it has been for some time now.

The bottom line here is government agencies are acting in secrecy outside of the democracy. Unfortunately for democracy, a secret “deep state” does seem to exist and operate in the US and probably in other countries as well. Just be aware. Walking in the dark these days can get you in trouble or worse.

Anarchy- Four Thoughts

The most useful piece of learning for the uses of life is to unlearn what is untrue.” ~Antisthenes

Anarchy is a confusing term to most people, but it doesn’t have to be. It simply means no masters, no rulers, the absence of political authority. Sadly, most people think it means chaos and disorder. That’s due to statist propaganda and a kind of Orwellian doublespeak that keeps the masses ignorant and confused.

Because of a simple misunderstanding about the human condition. Most people assume, either due to cultural conditioning or political brainwashing, that they need to be ruled over, forgetting the very obvious fact that people are fallible, including the people who would rule.

People fall victim to the classic logical fallacy-appeal to authority; while also getting caught up in a vicious repetition of the same ideas – people are bad therefore they need to be ruled by people are that are bad if not worse…on and on, ads forever and ad arguments to the point of nausea. It’s all psychological. But people don’t need rulers, they need leaders. Sadly, this United States does not have any. Only perceived, and self-proclaimed.

That said, here are four things you probably didn’t know about anarchy.

1. Anarchy Implies Freedom

No man is free, who is not master of himself.” ~Epictetus

If self-rule is the foundation of anarchy, then, freedom is its cornerstone. We cannot call ourselves free if we are a statist, for statism implies that one fall under the overreaching power and outdated laws of the state, which is the opposite of freedom.

Under a banner of anarchy one can consider himself free because he falls under the laws of reason, the non-aggression principle, the Golden Rule, and a cosmic law if you will. As long as these vital laws of social survival are not violated, one can call himself free and an anarchist. As long as they are violated, one cannot claim freedom, only delusion, corruption, violence, and immorality.

Freedom works both ways. One must not only fight against becoming a slave, one must also fight against being a master or ruler. He who is caught up in being a master or ruler becomes a slave to his own tyranny. Slavery anywhere-whether soft or hard, whether one is a slave or a master, is a threat to freedom everywhere.

2. Anarchy Implies Non-Violence

It is forbidden to kill; therefore all murderers are punished unless they kill in large numbers and to the sound of trumpets.” ~Voltaire

The non-aggression principle is another cornerstone of anarchy. One need not be violent in order to be a free, self-ruling anarchist. One need only apply self-defense when needed, while making sure not to succumb to offensive overreach or of lording one’s power over others.

Freedom is paramount, including the freedom of those who think differently. That doesn’t mean people are free to kill or injure or steal. It means people are free as long as they are upholding the non-aggression principle while also upholding a stout and vigilant self-defense against these few who would kill, injure, or steal.

Statism, on the other hand, does not honor the non-aggression principle. It blatantly violates it. it uses the monopoly on violence to keep its non-free statists in line and obedient. yet again it is clear that statism is the opposite of freedom.

3. Anarchy Implies Courage

He is a man of courage who does not run away, but remains at his post and fights against the enemy.” ~Socrates

The typical statist reaction to an anarchist rant is to either be reduced to ad “personal” attacks or to say one of two things: “But what about my roads!” Or, “If you don’t like it here then move.” As ignorant as these comments are they are coming from a place of blind patriotism and naive xenophobia. What the statists who say such things don’t realize is that no matter where one goes, one will be a victim of a nation state. This is because statism is a pandemic psychosocial disease and a worldwide religion that trumps all other religions.

Better to remain in the place where you were born, rise up with your sound anarchist principles in hand, and defy the immediate state with your blatant self-rule and your “in-your-face freedom”, than to go to another state that you are not familiar with and potentially drown in culture shock. Better to fight for your own sovereignty where you were raised, than to interfere in a place you are unfamiliar with and have to worry about survival before sovereignty.

4. Anarchy Implies Adherence to God’s Laws

There is nothing in the law of God that will rob you of happiness; it only denies you that which would cause sorrow.” -C.H. Spurgeon

Anarchy is the natural default social governing system, for healthy human beings otherwise there is oppression, slavery, and/or tyranny. Anarchy is not only how healthy and free human beings “govern” each other, but how they act in accordance to God’s indwelling knowledge of right and wrong. For in order to maintain one’s freedom, one must not violate God’s laws lest the backlash of those laws cripple one’s freedom due to the collapse of moral aptitude in action.

A true anarchist understands that he or she is a vital independent part of an interdependent whole. Everything is connected, to include the action of the individual.

When it comes down to it, the concept of anarchy does not need to be confusing, unless you are purposefully trying to keep people ignorant. But in the age of information there is no excuse for remaining ignorant- especially regarding such an important topic as anarchy. And especially in regards to the statism that threatens to consume us all in its unhealthy, violent, and all-consuming mouth.

And one more tidbit: You may discover that you’re more of an anarchist than you realized. It’s worth the research; for all of us.

A true anarchist believes in God as ruler over the affairs of men and not that of men over men. We would rather obey God, than man.

Acts 5:29 “Then Peter and the other apostles answered and said, We ought to obey God rather than men.”

As Christians we know that we are to not resist gov’t and not to speak evil of dignitaries; however, what exists now is nothing short of a beast system (anti-God), in place and has neither dignity nor the best interest of man, with God’s laws and statutes (grace) in mind. That said, any gov’t or so-called ruler or set of laws should not be adhered to or honored as it may conflict with that of obedience to God and what is right and acceptable before the Lord. Discernment should be used in analysis of any and all edicts of mankind.

Jas 4:4 “Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.”

Jas 4:7 “Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.”

Rom 12:2 “And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

Eph 5:10 “Proving what is acceptable unto the Lord.

Eph 4:14 “That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive; ...”

Judgment Calls

*more survival tidbits

‘Young adults, people born between 1980 and 1997 (or, Millennial’s) are very different than those of us reared back in the better part of the Twentieth Century.

On the surface, some of these young people may not seem to possess skills useful to survival, but on the other hand, many of these kids are very smart and may just prove incredibly adaptable under adverse conditions.

They are an untested hypothesis—an unknown quantity.
It may serve you well to welcome them into your group if they possess the right personality, rather than the right skill set.

On the other hand, if they seem worthless and completely lost without a cell phone in their hand—they just might be.

Another judgment call.

There are those weak souls out there, often Liberal/Democratic types, who just don’t seem to have a self-preservation instinct. They oppose firearms, national defense, corporations, national borders and mandatory sentencing for violent criminals. They are very trusting souls when it comes to people they really should not trust.

These types are more concerned about their environmental impact than they are about staying alive—but maybe that’s because staying alive has never been in doubt until disaster strikes.

These people could be a terrible hindrance to your efforts. Don’t give these people critical jobs or place too much trust in them. They don’t see the world as it really is.

Given time, the nature they want to protect will chew them up and spit them out. In the meantime, you may have to deal with them.

Building your survival coalition, like friendships, takes a little work, but it’s necessary to the long-term security of you and your family.

Better to find out now which neighbors can help and which can hurt your chances of survival.

This Day

day

On this day ……

Mend a quarrel. Search out a forgotten friend. Without evidence or insight, dismiss suspicion and replace it with trust. Write a love letter. Share some treasure. Give a soft answer. Encourage youth. Manifest your loyalty in a word or deed. Reacquaint yourself with a King James Bible.

Keep a promise. Find the time. Forgo a grudge. Forgive and love an enemy. Listen to people’s concerns. Comfort others with wisdom and God’s truths. Apologize if you were wrong. Try to understand. Flout envy. Examine your demands on others. Think first of someone else. Appreciate, be kind, be gentle. Laugh a little more.

Walk in confidence. Take up arms against malice, anti-freedoms. Decry complacency. Hate evil. Seek peace and ensue it. Express your gratitude. Worship God, rebuke other false gods. Gladden the heart of a child. Take pleasure in the beauty and wonder of God’s creation. Speak your love. Speak it again. Speak it still again. Speak it still once again.

On this day …think about where you stand with God!

You Tell Me

cause_and_effect

Why? How? Who – You?

What causes and leads to its affects?

If our personal world is constantly changing – one would only need to wait for the next change if the present circumstances are too uncomfortable?

Would one ever need to worry about the affects of the previous circumstances?

If the mind remembers all that stimulates it, how easy would it be – to just forget, forgive and or just let go?

Can one influence a more positive outcome, in their world?

Caught between one’s thoughts, the present circumstances and the emotional influences what causes and leads to its affect?

What Have You Lost?

lost

Here we are, afraid of losing what we have all the time, holding on to it so tight that not a soul can touch it. We think by hiding it from the world, it’s hidden and it’s ours. Nothing is. Nothing ever will be. For, nothing ever was.

If you think there is anything that you have, that’s yours, be it money, a house, a car, a job or even a friend… it’s nothing but an illusion. It could all disappear… in one blow; and for some it has.

Here we are, so insecure that we are afraid of re-starting our lives, so we just carry on trying to sort out the current mess. The thought that we should give it all up and just start all over – with nothing – might cross our minds some time, sure, but we get scared and we push away anything that scares us.

There is nothing I can ever achieve or gain that I cannot lose, in a matter of seconds. You have never gained enough to not be able to lose it all, in just a few minutes. What you think is yours, was never yours and will never be yours (try not paying your taxes and see what all you lose). Whatever you make here, you leave here.

So what are you afraid of?

Let all be lost. Let them take away everything. As long as you have your heart beating strong, as long as you have your nostrils working fine, as long as the blood flows in your veins, you will live, you will breathe and you can get it all back… again and again. For, if you can do it once, you can da*n well do it again. It’s just a game we play – Life.

And remember, what can man take from you that God cannot give back to you, or give you more of or something better?

1 Tim 6:7 “For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out.”

Lk 12:15 “And he said unto them, Take heed, and beware of covetousness: for a man’s life consisteth not in the abundance of the things which he possesseth.”

Acts 27:22 “And now I exhort you to be of good cheer: for there shall be no loss of any man’s life among you, but of the ship.”

Mk 4:19 “And the cares of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, and the lusts of other things entering in, choke the word, and it becometh unfruitful. ”

God never takes from people, we do that through our own choices and actions. Our incorrect decisions and actions cause us to lose in this world. Trust the Lord to supply your needs through Christ! Take a break from the world-take a break from worry; what have you got to lose?
