Dynamite= Powerfully Changed Life (Sunday Story Inspiration)

Ephesians 3:16
β€œThat he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man;”

…I quickly changed into my after-school clothes so I could watch the men who were “dynamiting” the rock layer where an addition to our house would be built. They pre-drilled a layer of rock, loaded the holes with dynamite and then dragged a cable net over the site. Ignition caused an explosion that lifted the cable net off the ground.

Then the men dragged the net away and cleaned up the broken rock. Eventually the excavation beside our house was deep enough to pour a footer and concrete floor. The surrounding land was still the same, but the work area was completely different from how it use to be before.

In our verse above, Ephesians 3:16, the word “MIGHT” in the Greek is “DUNAMIS, it’s where we get our word “DYNAMITE.” The power of God and His Word is such that it has the same effects that dynamite had in the illustration above. It completely and powerfully changes us so that we are no longer the same person.

We have new desires, ambitions, motives, hopes and our goals line up more with God than that of the world’s following. Even people that knew you before will see that you are not the same person. 2 Corinthians states this: β€œTherefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.”

There is no ability in us to make change; not a permanent change. Oh we might can change a few things, but it won’t be consistent. When we try to change ourselves for the better we still end up doing the things we don’t want to do and then we get so depressed and stressed cause we fail trying to do things in our lives that only God can do; that’s how God designed us to be- total dependent on Him.

If you don’t like something in your life, ask God to come in and change it. He will. Thanks and praise to God that we can still in this late hour experience His “DYNAMITE” and be personally strengthened with might by His Spirit in the inner man. πŸ™‚

Do You Have Troubles ? (Sunday Inspiration)

2 Corinthians 1:4
β€œWho comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God.”

The Word ‘trouble‘ is found over a hundred times in the King James (Original and most accurate translation in English) Bible, and the word “troubled” 68 times. We should not find that surprising…Job in Job 14:1 states, β€œMan that is born of a woman is of few days, and full of trouble.” That may sound very negative but back then, it was a reality. Men of God in the Old Testament, such a Job, Joseph, King David and Daniel had many troubles. In the New Testament, Jesus was sometimes troubled and so were His disciples.

We see this especially in Paul’s voyage. Paul was on a stormy voyage that ended in a shipwreck. Paul wrote in 2 Timothy 2:9, β€œWherein I suffer trouble, as an evil doer, even unto bonds; but the word of God is not bound.”

Trouble can be in this world: afflictions (many times by our own hands), distresses (worries, stress, etc), disease (eating poorly, taking drugs, false beliefs),financial issues (poor decisions with money), loss of material items (stolen, weather related, etc), and mechanical breakdowns (man made cars, computers and machines). But how should we relate to these things? Obviously in a positive way: Jesus said, in John 14:1, β€œLet not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.”

Again in John 14:27 Jesus says, β€œPeace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.”

Peter, one of Jesus’ disciples stated this in 1 Peter 5:7, β€œCasting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.”

Instead of being troubled with the cares of this life lets sit at the feet of Jesus and focus on God rather than our trouble. Which ever one (troubles or God) we magnify the most in our life will dominate our future.

Know this, that God (if believed) will not only help us in trouble, but also help keep us out of trouble. πŸ™‚

Entering That Rest (Sunday Inspiration-10-7-2018)

β€œLet us labour therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief.” Hebrews 4:11

As most people know, God created our bodies to get tired; we have a need to rest. It feels great to get a good night’s rest, then to wake up feeling refreshed after a hard day’s work the day before. If we were to work for days without stopping to sleep, eventually we would not be able to function properly. God has also placed in every person a longing for a “rest” in his or her heart. The world today is filled with people endeavoring to satisfy that desire, that rest but most, are going to the wrong source.

Some, try drugs alcohol or immorality; others go to seeking wealth (money, bling, etc), still others can’t leave fashion, electronics, pleasures, even sports alone….. and many, wrap their lives around politics. But a person who gives to these pursuits will only compound their problems. These cannot ever satisfy; we would only come up needing more and what we perceive to be something different from these and other desires. The unsatisfied quest sought for daily!

They, are left with the same hollow feeling as before, because the inner desire of one’s heart will NEVER be truly satisfied with anything this world offers.

Today’s key verse (see above) admonishes us to “…labour therefore to enter into that rest…” Normally it takes little effort to engage in physical rest, but here we have a “rest” that requires much effort to gain and diligence to maintain.

This “rest” is for the soul and it comes at a price. You must “want” this rest more than anything you own or ever hope to possess. It demands our all! In natural life, we rest by sleeping and taking breaks. But in true Christianity, the true seeking and finding of the One and ONLY true God, we dare not take breaks, lest we fall by the wayside chasing some other worldly path.

So how do we find this “rest?” In Matthew 11:28 (KJV) Jesus (the Son of God) gave this beautiful invitation: β€œCome unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” The ONLY way for your inner longing to be perfectly satisfied is by coming to Jesus and surrendering your life to Him; stop seeking your own way. Only then will you find that “rest” that our souls desperately need. May we do this today and continue through this new week coming, to enter into this rest and maybe bring someone with us. Others around us need a good rest as well. πŸ™‚

James 1:2 “Wherefore lay apart all filthiness and superfluity of naughtiness, and receive with meekness the engrafted word, which is able to save your souls.”

Hebrews 4:8 “There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God.”

The Kingdom is Within YOU!

I’m changing things up today (don’t worry, I will still post awesome links and vids) after all, this began as “…of the story.” Stories with a meaning; and I have a story for you today- let’s not forget today is Sunday. A lot of people like to think about God today, (we should do it everyday) or we think about those who are thinking about God. Maybe we wonder if He is still involved in mankind’s workings. I can assure you He is. He’s working on you this very moment!

Back in Old Testament days, God dealt with man a little differently than He does today. There was a different covenant that He had with man, and in short; God was reaching out to man (2 Chron 16:9), and He still is. However, not all men (and women) were reaching out to Him. So, He sent His Son (Mt 21:37) in the likeness (literally human) of mankind. And from the time He came till well after He left (temporarily) He would now draw all men to Himself (Jn 12:32). We (many people) are what has been called, “God chasers.”

Ok, without further ado……..here’s that story. Thanks to James B. of Canada for the structuring

The Kingdom of God is Where?

There are several Scriptural proofs showing that the Kingdom of God is right here, right now! While there is the Kingdom of Heaven (where God also dwells) the Kingdom God (spiritually) spoken of, “is within us.” John the Baptist (Mt. 3:2) stated, “And saying, Repent ye: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.” That meant it was a nearly now (then) thing to occur shortly.

Jesus preached the same message (Mt. 4:17); and in the book of Acts; God’s Kingdom was a primary theme in the apostles’ preaching as well (Acts 28:23,31). Entrance into the Kingdom is by the new birth (a soul and spiritual change in the hearts of men, something we cannot do ourselves).

Salvation is freely offered by grace through faith in the accomplishments of Jesus on earth, and more importantly, the debt, our debt, that was stopping that spiritual change; that debt, Jesus paid for with His life (Eph. 2:8-9). On this foundation, this truth, all believers in Jesus now belong to this Kingdom.

In Luke 17:21, Jesus Said that the Kingdom of God “…is within you…” This clearly shows that the Kingdom of God is here and now. Not some kind of nirvana, or emotion we need feel or a place we must look for.

There are still lost people (unchanged hearts), and what’s worse is that the people who were once “aware” are now falling away (2 Thess. 2:3). That can be both good and bad news. In the good, it means that we are ever closer to the Lord returning. On the bad, people have become so Heavenly minded and religious that they are become no earthly good.

But if you can hear, maybe you can encourage a fallen man or woman of God and point him or her back to the truth. Remind them that God loves them and that you do too. That’s a powerful message; and it’s not complicated.

The Gospel (or good news) is that we are still in harvest time and reaping time. The lost are still out there. And, we still need to continue to expand the Kingdom.

We don’t need to overlook the literal, present aspects of this Kingdom, the one Jesus spoke about at the Sermon on the Mount. Let us be happy that we and many around us in our lives can be counted as sanctified and redeemed of the earth. We are subjects of a Glorious King (ONLY Jesus, I know of no other king), and it’s nothing to be ashamed of. *

Scriptures used from ONLY KJV:

Lk 17:21 “Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you.”

2 Chron 16:9 “For the eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to show himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward him. Herein thou hast done foolishly: therefore from henceforth thou shalt have wars.”

Jn 12:32 “And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me.”

Mt 21:37 “But last of all he sent unto them his son, saying, They will reverence my son.”

And to recap:

Rev 21:3 “And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.”

Elvis Has Left The Building

Well, I believe it’s time for me to leave. I hope I’ve inspired you to “carry on,” There are a lot of wise directions and opportunities to follow a better path, to follow the Lord Jesus. Our society has gone down so badly, it’s almost unrecognizable in many ways. I need to follow the ways the Lord would have me to go. It’s going to get worse for so many people; and if it’s one reason I am here, it’s cause of people. We need to love each other, and point our neighbors in the right direction, that is if they will hear you. People’s hearing is clogged, but I do pray that this page will remain. I believe it will bless you. Thanks to those who’ve liked this page/posts. I wish I could have talked to many of you for more times than I did, but ya know, we just do what we do, and then move on. That’s what I need to do…..but, who knows, maybe I will pop in with something worth reading and sharing, so I leave it up to you as to your subscription. Hope you’ll hang in there. But if I don’t come back here; may God keep you and you keep Him, abide in the Vine. Stay safe- Keep the faith. -Moraldiplomat

take care everyone. Enjoyed it. Much love in these times!

Thank God For Hurricanes

Hurricanes are awful, but at least we have some warning they are coming unlike quick-forming tornadoes or sudden earthquakes. We knew about Harvey for days before it landed in coastal Texas. Hurricane Irma was bearing down on Florida but would not make landfall until the nearing weekend.

See, a hurricane gives you about a week to prepare. You can shop for extra food, board up the windows, and even get out of Dodge.

Even then some people weren’t prepared, they decided to wait until the last minute. For many in Texas and Florida, a “SHTF” situation occurred for them. It’s just a matter of time before one of those moments get near you.

As a last minute prep-work; thousands of people showed up to their grocery store and found it looking like this:

That’s an actual photo from my cousin’s Facebook page she posted right before Hurricane Harvey landed at the coast of Texas. You think she learned a lesson in preparedness?

Had she asked me beforehand I would have said that, at the very least, she should have:

  • Backup power/Heat
  • Extra water
  • Extra medications and essentials
  • Bug out bag
  • A place and means to escape to if you need to get the heck out

Luckily there is good news: You DO have time to prepare for anything – as long as you start now.
