Disciples were involved in a heated discussion on the cause of human suffering.

Some said it came from selfishness. Others, from delusion. Yet others, from the inability to distinguish the real from the unreal.

When the teacher was consulted, he said, “All suffering comes from a person’s inability to sit still and be alone.”
God puts it this way:

Ps 4:4 ‘Stand in awe, and sin not: commune with your own heart upon your bed, and be still. Selah.”

Ps 46:10 “Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth.’
